Now, A-Rod WILL have surgery but it’s a 6-9 week recovery surgery which will require more work after the season is over. I’m fine with this as well. I don’t think the Yankees could survive 4 months without A-Rod, but a month (of the regular season), maybe. The only thing is that they’re likely to have yet another slow start in April, and I’d be surprised if they didn’t. Another uphill climb for the Yankees coming right up!
