Sportsline’s Gary Parrish insists that BC “desperately needed a win” yesterday and fell short. A 20-win team in the ACC with wins over UNC, Duke, and FSU, an eminently winnable finale and a good chance of collecting at least one win in the ACC tournament is desperate? I really hope the article was not serious.
Miami DID desperately need a win, Florida DID desperately need a win, VT DID desperately need a win. Their bubbles have all burst and rightfully so. Boston College’s bubble has not burst. The win may have been quite nice, but it was not a must-win. GT is now, however, a must-win.
