Virtually anywhere you look, the maroon and gold had a sub-par weekend. Sure, the field hockey team made the NCAA Tournament (congrats, ladies), but the women’s soccer team did not. The women’s hockey team is a unanimous number one in the nation, but the men’s team had some games to forget, and don’t even get us started about the football team.

Okay, get us started about the football team. We have an hour to kill.

Soaring to Glory Show, November 12, 2014: Louisville Lessons

What did we learn from the 38-19 defeat against the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday? Kyle and I will discuss the disappointments we all felt and what, if anything, this game means.

Boston College already got themselves bowl-eligible, but their loss and Notre Dame’s loss could have a significant impact on where they play in December. The future may now lack pinstripes, and could even involve another trip to Shreveport.

Boston College men’s hockey did not have such a great week, either. Between getting shut out by UConn and giving up a few cheapies to Boston University in the third period last week, the Eagles were humbled. Yet, they are still in the top ten.

Kyle and I discuss our thoughts on how the year is going so far, and if the Eagles will end up alright.
