Week 10 College Football Rankings: Nope, Still No Boston College

The Week 10 college football rankings, and probably most or all of the weekly polls to follow, will continue to be absent our Boston College Eagles.

The sad reality is that if the Eagles had beaten Colorado State, they may have been ranked entering the Clemson game. Or, if they had caught one of those dropped touchdown passes and beaten Clemson, they might be in the top 25 now.

At this point, it is most likely not going to happen, but Mississippi State, Florida State, and Alabama, you’re cool.

Week 10 College Football Rankings: Sayonara

In what looks almost identical to our rankings last week, the only team dropped was USC — for UCLA. That’s going to stick in a few craws.

Week 10 College Football Rankings: Why Did Ole Miss Not Drop?

It seemed like it would be harder to justify Alabama jumping Ole Miss after the latter beat them. Both have the same record, and really, from number three to maybe about eight, you can afford to have some wiggle room.

Ole Miss probably deserves to drop but I’m content with the way things are.
