#6 Boston College hockey’s 2014-15 home opener has arrived, and so has Colorado College hockey gameday on the Heights.

More from Hockey

The Tigers hold a dark place in recent Eagles hockey history, in a game of which we shall not speak (but we will anyway). That was in the 2011 NCAA Tournament, as Boston College, defending national champions, got blitzed in a stunning 8-4 defeat. The Eagles were the highest-seeded team to lose in the first round, though Colorado College got theirs the following game.

Basically nobody is left from that team, but regardless, Boston College will look to settle the score on their home ice and make it back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
