The Soaring to Glory Show, Oct. 22, 2014: Buzz off, Avicii. It’s our phrase now. And we need it to describe what will probably be a boring game against Wake Forest.

In the offseason, the Clemson game looked like a reach. Last week, it seemed very doable. With two minutes to go in the game, it seemed very doable. And then, it wasn’t. We then spend some time — as much as our constitutions will allow — discussing Boston College’s upcoming game with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, a game the Eagles absolutely have to have.

As of last night, Boston College were 12-point road favorites against the team with the nation’s worst offense.

Question to ponder: Realistically, how many points is it going to take Boston College to win? (This will also be answered in 5 Big Questions tomorrow morning.)
