Top 5 Boston College Football Freshmen to Watch in 2014

5. Isaac Yiadom, DB

Yiadom is a local product who was the second recruit to join the 2014 class, back in March 2013. For quite a while, we have known that Yiadom was on his way here, and the coaches have had plenty of time to determine a role for him.

Considered to be one of the top Massachusetts for the class, Isaac Yiadom runs a 4.5 and is coming off of a season where he came up with 112 tackles from the secondary.

Working in Yiadom’s favor is the fact that he matriculated early at Boston College, showing up for the spring semester and participating in spring football practices earlier this year. That early arrival and work with the coaches could prove quite useful to him as he looks to get started with the Eagles right away.

Yiadom could certainly get snaps as a freshman, and if he does, he has already proven an ability to make plays. He could be a nice complement to some of the better players the Eagles already have in the backfield.
