Tough break for a former Eagle as Emmett Cleary was waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday.
Cleary was a 2012 graduate of Boston College who signed with the Indianapolis Colts after the 2013 NFL Draft, but landed in camp this year with Lovie Smith and company.

SportsNet, one of Canada’s biggest sports networks, considers Boston College goalie Thatcher Demko as a top-30 prospect in this month’s NHL Entry-Level Draft. How do we know this? He’s ranked #30 on their list.
We have known for some time that Demko is considered to be the top goalie in the draft, and that should help him earn a nice chunk of change someday. In the meantime, a high draft pick seems likely, as it does with his future teammate Sonny Milano.
