Boston College Frozen Four Gameday Morning: Union

facebooktwitterreddit

This afternoon, the Boston College Eagles will face the Union Dutchmen in the Frozen Four national semifinal for the right to play for the 2014 national championship on Saturday.

Someone’s dream is going to end in Philadelphia this day, and hopefully, it will not be ours.

The Dutchmen bring one of the most solid teams in the nation in the country into this contest, dispelling the notion that an elite team can’t come from the ECAC. The reality, when comparing the bodies of work, is that the Dutchmen are every bit as good as the Eagles and as capable of winning it all, but the top line of Boston College is annihilating all in its path like Godzilla on a trademark Tokyo rampage. It is shaping up to be an epic battle.

Will Union advance to the title game, or will the Eagles get their revenge for last year’s first-round exit?
