Defensive end Harold Landry officially signed national letter of intent to play for Boston College Eagles football in 2014 prior to National Signing Day, enrolling for the spring semester at Boston College.

He was the third recruit to verbally commit to the class, having committed to join Head Coach Steve Addazio’s program on April 8th, and enrolling early at Boston College, after a brief de-commitment in the summer.

Landry played defensive end for Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Landry was rated as four stars by ESPN and Rivals (three stars by 247 – like who cares?). Landry measures in at 6’2″ and 224 lb. with a 4.64 40 time. He is the ranked 180th in the Rivals 250 of national recruits. He is ranked at 13th and 31st at his position by Rivals and ESPN respectively. Landry is considered one of this Boston College class’s top recruits and was heavily pursued by a number of other schools; he turned down offers from, amongst others, Tennessee, Syracuse, Ohio State, Florida State, and Miami.
