For the first time in three years, bowl eligibility is in the grasp of the Boston College Eagles. Will they get it as the seniors play their final home game?

Boston College Best-Case Scenario
Andre Williams hits the Wolfpack once, then he hits them again. Then the Eagles roll behind other seniors such as Chase Rettig, Alex Amidon, and Kevin Pierre-Louis to a three-score win over NC State, sending them to a bowl game for the first time since 2010. Rettig throws a touchdown or two and Kasim Edebali gets three sacks in his final home game.

Boston College Worst-Case Scenario
The Eagles play down to their level of competition and let the Wolfpack, who still struggle throughout the game, to hang around. And hang around. And hang around. Late in the game, a turnover gives NC State a chance to take the lead, they do, and the Eagles don’t respond as they fall in a highly-frustrating close one, messing up their plans for a celebration.

Bottom Line
Boston College is not the best team on the face of the earth, but the Wolfpack are no great shakes, either. In fact, they’re a pretty lousy team right now. They’re not getting creamed every week, but consistently losing, sure. Meanwhile, if there’s one thing we can say for the Eagles, it’s that at the end of the day, they have protected their house as Under Armour has implored them to do. They should be able to do it one more time for this senior class and close out a 5-1 home slate.

NC State/BC: Pick
Score estimate: Boston College 27, North Carolina State 20
