Boston College’s final home game of the season approaches quickly, and your minds are full of interrogatives. Will the Eagles win? Will they cover? Are they going to look good doing it?

If you wanted those answered, keep your pantaloons on until tomorrow when we pick the game. In fact, keep them on tomorrow as well. Anyway, here are some other big questions.

5. What sort of sendoff will the seniors get from the Eagle fans?

A good one, hopefully. There won’t be a parade draining attendance and the weather will at least be tolerable for football season, but it’s a lousy opponent and there’s no TOB-Spaz dynamic (not that we’d want either one present).

Realistically, it’s not going to be a sellout and 35,000 fans would probably be a reasonable estimate. Nevertheless, the seniors will get a nice hand. They include key Eagles such as Chase Rettig, Andre Williams, Alex Amidon, Kasim Edebali, Nate Freese, and more, who have put in four admirable years on the Heights. Frankly, no pun intended, this class suffered through some dark years and they deserve a full house in their last home game.
