Since all the feedback to yesterday’s lunchtime links was positive or at least that’s what I’m telling myself at the moment. Here are your links to eat your lunch over. By the way it’s Guy Fawkes Day here in England, so everyone go burn an effigy of your favorite Catholic conspirator.

Sports Illustrated Bowl Projections

SI Writer Stewart Mandel predicts who will be in each bowl. The answers are standard (Alabama v. Oregon BCS etc.). He predicts Boston College will make a bowl and go up against Georgia in the Music City Bowl. The 5-3 SEC team would be a tough go but at least there would be some national spotlight considering the opponent is Georgia and the Music City Bowl has some name recognition. Boston College has played twice in the Music City Bowl since it was created in 1998. In 2008, they lost to Vanderbilt 16-14. But in 2001 they beat the Bulldogs 20-16. Upset City.

CBS Sports Bowl Projections

Now in contrast to the dignified Sports Illustrated, CBS Sports writer Jerry Palm thinks that Boston College won’t make a bowl but rather that North Carolina and Syracuse will make it. Is he dumb? Please tweet your displeasure @jppalmCBS.

BC Interruption: Darius Wade & Isaac Yiadom To Sign Letters of Intent This Week

Great news. Seems like Coach Addazio has brainwashed (in a good way) the recruits about Boston College so much that they are ready to enroll early and not entertain any other offers. While Yiadom is a going to be a solid wide receiver, Darius Wade has a chance of entering Ryan Day’s system as a true freshman quarterback. This is just the beginning.

BC: Dragicevich Worked to Make Seamless Transition to BC

While I am happy that the Notre Dame transfer has made his niche in an improv comedy group his first year here, I am even more excited for this guy’s shot in Coach Donahue’s system and the new jerseys. Since I have been totally out of the loop, I haven’t seen them before I got an eye on this article. They are straight up fresh and modern.

NYDN: James Dolan flips out on 1-2 Knicks, even cracks down on the dancers

And you thought Gene DiFilippo went crazy seeing all of the Clemson fans in their seats before the National Anthem. By the way, if you want to learn about football, check out GDF’s new business venture Water Cooler Football.

Yahoo “Loyalty Report” at BC

Cool little video around the tailgate before the Virginia Tech game. Want to see a crappier version I did of this last year? You do. I immediately regret posting that.

Tweet of the Day:

Never change Dickie V, never change. Like seriously I don’t even think I could ever watch Dickie V without all of his biases, idiosyncrasies and downright ridiculousness. I miss his tweets about the Tampa Bay Rays.

Vine I just can’t seem to turn off:

The Sports Pope is back at it. I’d post Mike’s reading of the Richie Incognito tweets but I think that I would artificially change the “time on site” stat just by continually watching them.

I hope you liked today’s links. Excuse me while I go play squash. Yeah, this place has changed me.
