It is a beautiful morning in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts as your Boston College Eagles prepare to take on the #8 Florida State Seminoles at Alumni Stadium. The Eagles have not played a home game in exactly 22 days, but we are back to football on the Heights.

First, if for some reason you were blissfully unaware, it is Parents Weekend at Boston College. You might expect to see a few more people at the game than against either Villanova or Wake Forest, though as of a few days ago, there were still tickets available. That’s kind of disappointing considering that a game like this would bring around 40,000 a few years ago, and maybe it will today after all, but that’s the situation.

Your Weather Channel forecast calls for a great day in Chestnut Hill. The skies will be bright and sunny with an afternoon high of 69. By the end of the game (which should be around 6:30 or 7pm tonight), temperatures will drop into the low 60s, so bring a jacket if you dare.

Kickoff for today’s game is at 3:30pm ET. If you go by Boston College’s parking rules to the letter, then the tailgate begins at 12:30pm.

The Eagle Walk will occur at approximately 1:10pm.

See you at the game.
