Today marks a turning point in the history of Soaring to Glory as I have been asked to take over as acting editor. It is a position I neither expected, nor very much desired at this period in time, but in loyalty to Soaring to Glory and the Fansided network I decided to take it.

While I have not been posting as much in the last month due to the advent of a 9 to 5 job in my life, I am ready to undertake this mission for however long it takes. We at Soaring to Glory are looking to bring you the best Boston College commentary out there, without any hedging. We strive to do the best by our readers and we count on you to see us through this time.

No matter what, we will continue to expand as it is our only chance to stay legitimate in the growing Boston College blogosphere.

And on that topic of expansion, I’m looking for just a little bit of help from you guys. Right now it’s me and one other staff writer. To bring out the best of Boston College Athletics, I am asking you to think about writing for us. You can write about your favorite sport or even about general Boston College culture. Even if you can’t find the time to write for Soaring to Glory, find the time to comment on our articles and create a discussion. Honestly sometimes the discussions on Boston College blogs bring out more interesting points than the article being commented on!

So we are just looking for some help and we want to promise you that even in this transition period, in the words of George W. Bush, Soaring to Glory will stay the course and continue to bring you great Boston College commentary and opinion.

Thanks and have a nice day and #BeADude!

GO EAGLES!
