Boston College Football Recruiting: LB Kevin Cohee Commits

NCAA Football: Temple at Pittsburgh

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Shortly after learning that Boston College football recruited a new offensive guard (Jon Baker) for the 2014 class, we discovered that they struck again today.

This time, they got a verbal commitment from Kevin Cohee, an inside linebacker from West Roxbury, playing for Roxbury Latin. Both Saturday commitments are Massachusetts natives, meaning three of the seven current players on the list for BC are from the commonwealth. Cohee’s measurements are 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds.

Cohee’s two other offers were from FBS programs in the region: UMass and UConn. There is not a great deal of scouting information available for him, but there is a highlight video from this past season.

Another talented linebacker is on his way to the Heights, and with this 2014 class growing in both size and quality, it’s difficult not to praise the entire Addazio coaching staff for what they’ve done so far. There has been a true vigor associated with recruiting, and it is paying off.

Please join us in welcoming Kevin Cohee to Boston College.
