Senior infielder Anthony Melchionda was selected in the 14th Round (#450 overall) by the world champion St. Louis Cardinals.

Senior pitcher Matt Brazis was taken in the 28th Round (#851 overall) by the Seattle Mariners. Brazis will join his former teammate, Mickey Wiswall ’10, in the Mariners organization. Wiswall is currently assigned to A-advanced High Desert.

Chris Shaw, an infielder/pitcher and a Boston College commit, was drafted by the New York Mets in the 26th Round (#800 overall). One other Eagle is in the Mets organization: Eric Campbell ’08, who is presently playing for Double-A Binghamton.
